Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an AP-AR Controller M/F in Turkey to plan, analyze and control budgets, and to prepare legally compliant reports. The role focuses on maintaining accounting data integrity, managing money transfers, and ensuring tax obligations are met under local laws.

Qualifications

• Graduated from Finance, Accounting, Economics departments of 4-year universities.
• At least 2 years of work experience in an international company in the fields of finance, accounting, control or reporting.
• Proficient in the logistics sector, familiar with sectoral definitions.
• Good use of Microsoft systems.
• Completed military service.
• Has sufficient knowledge of English.
• Prone to teamwork.
• Business and result oriented.

Responsibilities

• Planning, analyzing and controlling according to the budget.
• General reporting according to the budget.
• Making legally responsible reports.
• Ensuring accounting data integrity.
• Managing money and money transfers.
• Paying, controlling and monitoring taxes that are the company's obligations according to local legislation.
• Supporting external auditors in providing accurate information.
• Making annual financial and budget plans and submitting them to the approval of the globally affiliated management.
• Following and developing budget processes and procedures.
• Reviewing daily/weekly/monthly reports created on a global basis in order to ensure compliance with global policies and local legislation.
