Job summary

Emerging Travel Group is seeking an E-Invoicing Subject Matter Expert to ensure stability of electronic invoicing across countries, focusing on Italy, Germany, Brazil and UAE. You will monitor integration errors, guide local teams, and lead process improvements while staying compliant with evolving tax rules.

Ideal candidates have B2B e-invoicing hands-on experience, ERP familiarity (SAP/Oracle), and strong English communication in a fast-paced, global travel-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Background in Finance Operations, Accounting, AP/AR, Tax Technology, or Shared Services.
• Hands-on experience with mandatory B2B e-invoicing in a country where required.
• Experience with Italy (SdI) or Romania (RO e-Factura) is highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of Clearance vs Post-Audit models.
• Strong communication skills and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Advanced English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support e-invoicing integration; guide local teams on invoice issues.
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and propose process improvements.
• Track regulatory changes in e-invoicing and ensure compliance.
• Support new-country rollouts: review requirements and assist UAT.
• Operate as an operational practitioner, not a developer or lawyer.
