Job summary

TEKFEN ENGINEERING in Istanbul is seeking a dedicated Geotechnical Engineer to join our office. You will contribute to complex transportation and heavy infrastructure projects, performing geotechnical characterization, numerical modeling, foundation design, and technical reporting to deliver safe, innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of geotechnical experience on large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with PLAXIS 2D/3D and Rocscience tools.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and foundation engineering.
• Good English; willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Interpret geotechnical data to build design ground models.
• Perform analyses for foundations, slopes, and earth-retaining structures.
• Prepare detailed design reports and specifications.
• Use PLAXIS and Rocscience software for analysis.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.
