Job summary

WPP Production is seeking a Project Director to lead a team of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS developers and be responsible for client delivery. You will set the technical approach, promote best practices, and collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure high-quality work.

You will communicate with senior stakeholders, define strategies, and drive collaboration across disciplines to deliver complex client projects.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years project management experience.
Experience leading innovation and leveraging emerging platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally to build relationships across units.
Experience on international initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with leads across delivery teams (Tech, PM, QA, Resource Management).
Ensure compliance with production processes.
Escalate and resolve project issues quickly and effectively.
Coach and develop the team with regular performance reviews.
Manage hiring and maintain clear briefs for contractors.
Interview candidates and approve freelancers for fast-paced projects.
Set client expectations and ensure workflows are followed.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Monitor budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
Draft timelines and reports for clients and team.
Keep management informed of risks and proposed solutions.
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, QC checks and procedures.
Share strategic vision and promote best practices across teams.
