Job summary

Allianz Türkiye is seeking a Fire Safety Engineer to join our team in Istanbul. You will participate in testing, training, and consulting for our Technical Fire Department, while supporting clients with fire risk analyses, design reviews, and compliance checks of protection systems.

You will collaborate in field inspections, testing, and commissioning, contributing to our safety audits and continuous improvement efforts. English proficiency and a background in engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture; preferably Civil/Mechanical.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire safety.
• Knowledge of NFPA, EN, FM standards and building fire protection regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participates in testing, training, and consulting services of the Allianz Technical Fire Department.
• Follows up on business processes and conducts sales and technical meetings with clients.
• Participates in organizing training programs in fire safety.
• Prepares fire risk analysis reports and presents them to clients.
• Designs, engineers, and conducts compliance checks of fire protection system projects.
• Participates in field inspections, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Participates in testing and reporting at the fire response test laboratory.

What do we expect you to bring?

• Participates in the testing, training, and consulting services of the Allianz Technical Fire Department.

• Responsible for preparing fire risk analysis reports for businesses and presenting them to clients.


• Responsible for the design, engineering, and compliance checks of fire protection system projects.


• Participates in the field inspection, functional testing, and commissioning controls of fire protection systems.


• Participates in the testing and reporting processes at the fire response test laboratory.

How can you make an impact?

• Graduated from Engineering or Architecture Faculties of universities (Preferably Architect, Mechanical Engineer, or Civil Engineer)


• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of fire safety


• Experience in the design, installation, and operation of active and passive fire protection systems


• Proficient in the \"Regulation on Protection of Buildings from Fire\"


• Knowledge of internationally recognized standards and guidelines in the field of fire safety (NFPA, EN, FM, etc.)


• Minimum B1 level English proficiency.


• Having knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, Data Analytics, Data Intelligence, AI/Data Strategy, and ChatGPT.
