Job summary

Human Kapital is seeking a Finishing Department Chief for a production facility in Çorlu, Turkey. The role requires overseeing dyeing and finishing lines, managing blue-collar teams, and ensuring process compliance with strict KPI monitoring.

You will coordinate chemical planning, budget contributions, and OHS activities while driving continuous improvements on shop floor performance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Textile Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in textile dyeing and finishing.
• Experience managing blue-collar teams.
• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Manage chemical ordering in line with chemical demand planning and ensure laboratory analysis and compliance checks.
• Compare chemical consumption against recipe usage during stock counts for stock accuracy and cost control.
• Run quality control and compliance assessment processes for purchased products and products under evaluation.
• Prepare daily production plans and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Monitor daily production performance and efficiency indicators; take corrective actions.
• Establish, improve and standardize departmental processes and monitor sustainability.
• Ensure machine maintenance, cleaning and operating procedures are followed.
• Contribute to annual budget preparation and carry out departmental cost analyses.
• Participate in Occupational Health and Safety activities.

Our foreign-invested corporate client is looking for a results-oriented, analytical Finishing Department Chief to manage the Finishing Department at its production facility in Çorlu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Textile Engineering


• At least 5 years of experience in textile dyeing and finishing


• Experience managing blue-collar teams


• Able to actively follow production processes on the shop floor


• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel; SAP experience is a plus


• Good written and spoken English


• Able to track production, quality and efficiency KPIs and report on them regularly

Job Description
