Job summary

TCI Aircraft Interiors in Türkiye seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to manage IFRS reporting, month-end close, and statutory filings for our manufacturing operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, IFRS/TFRS proficiency, SAP familiarity, and strong Excel skills; collaboration with external auditors and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit, etc.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/TFRS.
• Hands-on experience with WTB (Work Trial Balance) preparation, review and analysis.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes and financial statement preparation.
• Experience working with external auditors and managing audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify key drivers and variances.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
• Prepare financial statements and related reporting packages in accordance with IFRS/TFRS.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate significant variances and unusual balances.
• Analyze financial data and provide explanations for material fluctuations.
• Support the preparation of management reporting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audit processes.
• Support the preparation of audit schedules, working papers, and other requested documentation.
• Contribute to the improvement and standardization of financial reporting processes.
• Support the implementation and improvement of ERP/SAP-related financial reporting processes.
• Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc financial analyses and reports requested by management.
• Prepare and review WTB as part of the month end closing and financial reporting process.
