Job summary

CoreX Holding invites applications for a Financial Controlling Manager to be based at our Maslak, Istanbul headquarters. The role oversees financial controls, payment processes and internal governance across our multinational group.

You will lead payment control, ensure compliance with authorization and duties, and collaborate with country teams and business units to deliver accurate, timely reporting under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance or related field.
• Min 10 years in finance, including 4–5 in a managerial role.
• Big 4 audit or multinational group experience preferred; knowledge of payment controls and internal controls; English advanced.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-payment checks by matching payment requests against contracts, invoices and approval documents
• Review payment orders and bank transfers before release
• Monitor compliance with the authorization matrix, dual approval and segregation of duties rules in payment processes
• Design and implement controls to detect duplicate, erroneous or unsupported payments
• Review vendor master data and bank account changes to prevent payment risks
• Track advance payments and their settlement
• Monitor cash outflows and report unusual payments
• Establish, test and improve internal controls over payment processes
• Conduct special investigations related to payments when needed
• High attention to detail in reviewing documents, contracts and invoices
• Risk-focused and inquisitive approach to payments and cash processes
• Strong analytical thinking for detecting irregularities and anomalies
• Strong control awareness regarding authorization, approval and segregation of duties
• High ethical standards, independence and confidentiality
• Systematic and disciplined approach to reconciliations and account analyses
• Ability to design controls and improve processes
• Clear and persuasive reporting of findings, including presentations to senior management
• Effective communication and coordination with country teams and business units

We are looking for a Financial Controlling Manager to be assigned to our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Finance or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, including 4–5 years in a managerial role
• Experience at a Big 4 audit firm or in financial control within a multinational group/holding structure is preferred
• Hands-on experience in payment control and internal control
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Advanced level of English
