Job summary

EagleBurgmann in Istanbul offers a Financial Controller role with a hybrid work model. You will lead month-end and year-end closings, manage reconciliations, and coordinate FP&A activities to monitor performance across the business.

You will supervise SAP Finance improvements, ensure IFRS and Turkish GAAP compliance, and drive process improvements while collaborating with global teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in finance and at least five years of experience, with strong English skills.

Qualifications

• University degree in a business-related field.
• Minimum 5 years of auditing, financial reporting or business controlling.
• Experience in IFRS and Turkish GAAP.
• Strong analytical thinking and reporting skills.
• English proficiency and MS Office expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and item resolution.
• Drive cost closing processes, analyze unit-cost variances, coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Coordinate SSC activities and ensure accurate AP/AR and GL processes.
• Monitor aging, collections, payments, accruals, provisions, and intercompany.
• Coordinate audits (statutory, tax, IFRS); oversee fixed assets and depreciation.
• Support SAP Finance improvements, controls, and reporting quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, account reviews, and resolution of open items,


• Drive cost closing processes, analyze unit-cost variances, and coordinate corrective actions,


• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis to support business performance,


• Coordinate Finance Shared Service Center activities and ensure accurate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes,


• Monitor aging reports, collections, payments, accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions,


• Coordinate statutory, tax, and IFRS audits while overseeing fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditure accounting,


• Support SAP Finance improvements, process documentation, internal controls, and reporting quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics,


• Minimum 5 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting and/or business controlling,


• Experience in IFRS and Turkish GAAP,


• Strong analytical thinking, reporting skills and ability to interpret financial data,


• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and teamwork skills,


• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines,


• Good command of both written and spoken English,


• Excellent command of MS Office programs,


• SAP experience is preferred.
