Job summary

Otokoç Otomotiv is seeking a Financial Control & Productivity Specialist to join its Central Financial Control Department. You will support decision-making with financial analyses and help drive the SAP S/4HANA transformation.

The role emphasizes KPI development, budgeting, and data-driven storytelling to improve productivity across international subsidiaries, with exposure to group-wide reporting and AI-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial control, business analytics or budgeting and reporting.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements with solid accounting understanding.
Advanced Excel skills; hands-on Power BI or similar data visualization.
Experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analyses (NPV, IRR, breakeven, benefit-cost) to support efficiency projects.
Prepare monthly management reports and explain income/expense variances with root causes.
Define KPIs for productivity projects and track their realization.
Oversee budgeting and reporting for Zero-Based Budgeting projects.
Contribute to SAP/Power BI reporting infrastructure and monthly/quarterly processes.

So, what responsibilities does the Financial Control & Productivity Specialist take on at Otokoç Otomotiv?

You will join a team within Otokoç Otomotiv's Central Financial Control Department that brings together financial control, productivity and international subsidiaries accounting functions. The position offers direct exposure to group-wide decision support processes and the opportunity to take an active role in our ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Conducting financial analyses (net present value, internal rate of return, breakeven point, benefit-cost analysis) to support decision makers in efficiency projects across the company
Preparing monthly management reports of business results together with financial analyses, and reporting income and expense variances with their root causes
Monitoring and projecting the ratios of company operating income and expenses
Defining KPIs for productivity projects and tracking and reporting their realization
Managing the budgeting and reporting process for projects tracked under the Zero-Based Budgeting methodology
Identifying process inefficiencies through data, developing improvement proposals and following through on their implementation
Reviewing trial balance and cost reports from a financial control perspective and defining systematic improvement needs
Contributing, as business owner, to the development of the reporting infrastructure (SAP / Power BI)
Contributing to the monthly and quarterly reporting processes requested by the distributor
Identifying opportunities to apply AI-supported solutions across analysis, reporting and productivity processes, and contributing to their transformation and adoption through pilot implementations

What are the Required Qualifications?

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields from a reputable university
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial control, business analytics or budgeting and reporting
Ability to read and interpret financial statements, with a solid understanding of accounting entry logic
Advanced level of Excel; hands-on experience with Power BI or a comparable data visualization tool
Working experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA
Willing to use AI tools in day-to-day work and open to evolving ways of working driven by technology
Data-driven, comfortable working with complex data sources and turning them into simple, actionable narratives
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Analytical thinking, result-oriented approach and strong communication skills with business units
