Job summary

A digital-first consumer goods group is looking for a Finance Intern to assist the Finance Manager with management reporting, P&L building, and treasury functions. This role involves supporting monthly closing activities, managing accounts payable/receivable reconciliations, and liaising with the finance team. Ideal candidates should possess a relevant bachelor’s degree, excellent Turkish and English communication skills, and a strong command of MS Office. The position is based in Istanbul.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

As the Finance Intern, you will closely work with the Finance Manager in arranging the management reporting, PL building, and treasury functions for both local and regional. You will also work on daily/weekly/monthly tasks. You will assist the Finance Manager in managing the financial information flow and providing accurate and timely data to the management. Acting as part of a diverse business you will have the opportunity to work with all other departments including brand management, operations, and global finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing and group reporting
• AP/AR Reconciliations, specifically for marketplaces
• Managing the expenses of personnel
• Follow the invoice approval process, to account for supplier invoice
• Prepare and control payment lists
• To be a contact point for HQ finance team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economy, Business Administration, Accounting, and relevant faculties of a reputable university,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
• Have knowledge & interest in general accounting processes and charts of accounts,
• Excellent MS Office command,
• Prone to teamwork, analytical thinking, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented.
