The role requires extensive international experience, strong banking relationships, and expertise in budgeting, cash flow, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Fluency in English is essential for global coordination.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor or higher degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
• CPA/SMMM qualification; CFA/CMA preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial feasibility studies and profitability analyses for investment projects.
• Identify financing requirements and manage processes with banks and financial institutions.
• Evaluate project financing, debt financing, equity financing, and alternative financing models.
• Prepare and manage cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial projections.
• Analyse foreign exchange, interest rate, country, liquidity, and other financial risks and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Monitor taxation, accounting, capital transfer, and regulatory requirements where investments are made.
• Coordinate processes with legal, tax, audit, and advisory firms.
• Conduct financial due diligence and valuation studies for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
• Monitor financial performance of investments and report to senior management, the Board, and investors.
• Oversee consolidation of international subsidiaries and liaise with overseas operations and head office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Public Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree in Finance is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant qualification (SMMM); international certifications such as CFA or CMA are preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Over 20 years of proven experience in managing the financial feasibility, financing, budgeting, cash flow, risk management, and reporting processes of domestic and international investments.
• Strong experience in managing relationships with domestic and international banks, investment funds, development banks, and financial institutions.
