Job summary

AYD AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY seeks a seasoned Finance Director to steer strategic financial leadership, oversee IFRS-compliant reporting, budgeting, and treasury. You will partner with the CEO and executive team to drive forecasting, capital allocation, and performance across manufacturing units.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in senior finance roles, Big 4 exposure, and excellent English. Automotive industry experience is a strong advantage for guiding complex, fast-growing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including senior leadership.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent in manufacturing or industrial environments (automotive a strong advantage).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and treasury management.
• Experience in large-scale, complex, and fast-growing organizations.
• Big 4 audit/advisory background highly desirable.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute AYD’s financial strategy aligned with growth and long-term plans.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute AYD’s financial strategy in alignment with corporate growth objectives and long-term business plans
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insight, scenario analysis, and decision support
• Lead financial forecasting, long-range planning, and capital allocation strategies
• Support M&A activities, joint ventures, and strategic investments when applicable

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management

• Oversee the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts across all business units
• Establish and monitor KPIs to drive profitability, efficiency, and cost discipline
• Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends; proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Lead cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives across operations

Accounting, Reporting & Compliance

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Manage external audits, statutory filings, and relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, corporate governance standards, and internal policies

Treasury, Cash Flow & Risk Management

• Manage cash flow planning, liquidity, working capital, and banking relationships
• Oversee treasury operations, credit management, and financial risk mitigation (FX, interest rate, etc.)
• Develop and maintain strong financial control frameworks to protect company assets

Internal Control, Transparency & Governance

• Design and strengthen internal control systems to ensure a highly accountable, transparent, and auditablefinancial structure
• Lead the development of financial policies, procedures, and control standards
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring continuous improvement of control environments

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance, accounting, and controlling teams
• Build a strong finance organization focused on accuracy, discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and ethical financial management

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance roles, including senior leadership positions
• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, CFO, or equivalent in a manufacturing or industrial environment (automotive experience is a strong advantage)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and treasury management
• Experience working in large-scale, complex, and fast-growing organizations
• Background in Big 4 audit or advisory firms is highly desirable
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
