Job summary

RealWorks, a technology venture studio operating in Türkiye, Europe, and the USA, seeks a Finance and Accounting Specialist to manage daily financial operations and grant-related tasks. You will coordinate with the accounting team and institutions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across local and international activities.

The role covers invoicing, bank transactions, loans, fixed assets, payroll, tax and SGK payments, and funding programs like KOSGEB and TÜBİTAK.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Knowledge of Technopark regulations and incentive schemes.
• Experience with Luca and Paraşüt accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Managing domestic and international invoicing processes.
• Daily recording and tracking of bank transactions.
• Following up on loans, financing, and banking products with bank representatives.
• Recording accruals, depreciation, and fixed assets.
• Regular tracking and reporting of income and expenses.
• Planning and managing supplier payments.
• Preparing weekly and monthly management reports.
• Following up on tax return reviews, tax payments, and SGK payments.
• Intercompany reconciliation and invoicing processes.
• Salary payments and payroll processes administration.
• Documentation of employee expenses, travel, and allowances.
• Tracking project funding programs such as KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB, Horizon Europe.

About the Role

As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day financial operations, as well as the follow-up of public funding, grant programs, and Technopark processes. With strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability, you will work in coordination with internal teams, the accounting team, and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Managing domestic and international invoicing processes
• Daily recording and tracking of bank transactions
• Following up on loans, financing, and banking products with bank representatives
• Recording accruals, depreciation, and fixed assets
• Regular tracking and reporting of income and expenses
• Planning and managing supplier payments
• Preparing weekly and monthly management reports
• Following up on tax return reviews, tax payments, and social security (SGK) payments
• Following up on intercompany reconciliation and invoicing processes
• Handling employee onboarding and offboarding procedures
• Calculating and processing salary payments
• Following up on payroll processes
• Recording employee expense, travel, and accommodation documents
• Following up on and managing company incentive processes
• Tracking, managing expenditures for, and periodically reporting on national and international project funding programs such as KOSGEB, TÜBİTAK, TÜSEB, and Horizon Europe
• Preparing documentation, budgets, and expenditure records for funding programs and following up on them together with the grant management specialist
• Following up on and managing Technopark processes (exemptions, R&D personnel notifications, periodic reports, etc.)
• Planning and maintaining an organized and accessible archiving system

*All of the above processes will be carried out in coordination with the existing accounting/finance team.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field
• Work experience in accounting and finance
• Knowledge of Technopark regulations and incentive schemes
• Experience with accounting software such as Luca and Paraşüt
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Strong reporting and presentation skills
• Solution-oriented approach
