Job summary

Buhler Group Türkiye, based in Izmir, is seeking a skilled Finance & Accounting Specialist to manage accounting, tax, and finance operations. You will ensure accurate reconciliations, processing of bank transactions, invoicing, and month-end closings while supporting the Finance Manager in reporting.

You will coordinate with service, sales, and order management teams, perform journal entries, and participate in internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
• Fluency in English.
• Active user skills of Logo-Netsis 3 Standard and SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning and liquidity planning; liaise with banks to optimize services.
• Process vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and ensure timely collections.
• Record daily bank transactions in the ERP system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations and payments.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and monthly close activities.
• Support financial reporting under IFRS/Swiss GAAP and local regulations.

Buhler Group Türkiye, based in Izmir, is looking for a skilled and proactive professional to join our Finance Team as a "Finance & Accounting Specialist". The role will be responsible for managing accounting, tax, and finance operations, ensuring accurate execution of account reconciliations, bank transactions, sales invoicing, and month-end closing activities. The position will also support the Finance Manager in financial reporting and finance-related processes, contributing to the effective and compliant operation of Bühler Türkiye's finance function.

This is where you'll excel

• Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning and liquidity planning as well as relations with banks to optimize banking services,
• Execute vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements
• Monitor accounts receivable aging report and ensure timely collections from customers
• Record daily bank transactions in the ERP system
• Submit monthly tax declarations accurately and on time
• Prepare quarterly and annual tax declarations, filings and government payments in coordination with Finance Manager
• Manage fixed asset records and perform monthly depreciation calculations
• Issue customer invoices in coordination with service, sales, and order management teams
• Prepare and maintain accurate, well-supported balance sheet reconciliations
• Support timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities
• Support preparation of financial reports in line with IFRS/Swiss Gap Fer, corporate guidelines, and local regulations
• Ensure proper documentation and approval for manual journal entries
• Perform analytical reviews of GL accounts and key transactions
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities in cooperation with the Finance Manager

These are the skills you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant business experience in finance and accounting
• Prior experience in an audit firm is preferred
• Fluency in English
• Active user skills of “Logo-Netsis 3 Standard” and SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong team player with the ability to work under pressure
• Agile, proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks of varying complexity
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong problem-solving mindset and a data-driven approach
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Residing in İzmir or willing to relocate to İzmir
