Job summary

ABB is seeking an on-site Service Engineer to perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting at customer sites. You will coordinate materials, support remote diagnostics, and ensure work quality in line with ABB standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of service experience or equivalent working experience.
Knowledge of low and medium voltage frequency converters.
Advanced diagnostic tools, drive configuration software, and troubleshooting techniques.
Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
Familiar with switchboard/panel products and industrial automation systems (PLC/DCS).
Valid driving license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site service activities including installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and on-site troubleshooting.
Provide technical support and analyze issues remotely from in-office when needed.
Coordinate materials, parts and equipment for service activities and prepare documents/reports for customers.
Execute service work on-site with low to medium complexity following ABB processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
Deliver quality customer service and identify new service business opportunities for ABB in collaboration with customers and ABB teams.
