Job summary

ABB Izmir Service Center is seeking a skilled technician to maintain and repair electric motors and generators. You will perform workshop and on-site service, prepare test reports, and ensure quality standards. The role requires welding, lathe operation, reading drawings, and safety compliance.

Based in İzmir or willing to relocate, with at least 3 years in a similar role. Proficiency in MS Office and intermediate English is expected, along with a valid B driving license.

Qualifications

• Vocational High School/College degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology.
• Minimum 3 years service experience in a similar role.
• Experience with high-voltage motors and generators preferred.
• Mechanical maintenance including assembly/disassembly.
• Welding operations (MIG/MAG and/or stick).
• Knowledge of lathe machine operation; ability to read drawings and use measuring tools.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office; intermediate English.
• Residence in İzmir or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on electric motors and generators in İzmir Service Center workshop.
• Execute service plans and reports in workshop and at customer sites.
• Prepare service test reports and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain service tools and equipment in good condition.
