Job summary

Fineksus is seeking an Expert Technical Analyst to join our R&D team in a hybrid role based in Istanbul's Fatih district. You will perform end-to-end business and technical analysis for Financial Messaging projects, translating requirements into clear specs and bridging business and tech teams.

You will design integration scenarios (REST, SOAP, MQ), handle message orchestration and reconciliation, support UAT, and help continuously improve systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Software/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of business or technical analysis experience.
• Familiarity with UML/BPMN, use cases, and sequence diagrams.
• Strong documentation skills for clear functional/technical specs.
• Experience with AI-based analysis and test scenario generation.
• Understanding of Financial Messaging is preferred.
• Experience with web services and database integrations.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Job description

We are looking for an Expert Technical Analyst to join our R&D team. This hybrid role requires working 2 days per week in the office and reports to the Senior Manager of Test & Analysis.

How will be your day like?

• Conduct end-to-end business and technical analysis for Financial Messaging projects
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications
• Act as a strong bridge between business units, customers, and technical teams (development, testing,etc.)
• Analyze and design integration scenarios using REST, SOAP, MQ, file-based and database-driven approaches
• Work on Financial Messaging modules such as message orchestration, archiving, reporting, and reconciliation
• Evaluate the impact of message, format, or integration changes across systems and product modules
• Identify potential risks early in the analysis phase and propose effective mitigation or solution alternatives
• Support test scenario creation and actively participate in UAT processes to ensure solution quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing systems, analysis practices, and documentation standards
• Provide technical and analytical guidance to junior analysts when required
• Utilize AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and quality in analysis, documentation, and test preparation processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business or technical analysis; preferably within finance, fintech, payment systems or banking
• Familiarity with analysis and modeling techniques such as UML, BPMN, use case, and sequence diagrams
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear functional and technical requirement documents
• Ability to use AI-based tools effectively for requirement analysis, documentation, and test scenario generation
• Understanding of Financial Messaging concepts, including SWIFT MT and/or ISO 20022 (MX) message standards is preferred
• Experience with message orchestration, archiving, reporting, and reconciliation modules is a plus
• Familiarity with payment systems (EFT, RTGS, SEPA, FAST, etc.)
• Experience using AI/automation tools in analysis processes is a big advantage
• Experience with Web Service API integrations and database technologies (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) is preferred
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps is plus
• Understanding of testing and UAT processes is plus
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
