Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Quality & Food Safety leader to drive the QFS agenda across Europe’s beverage manufacturing network, including 45+ bottling sites. The role requires strong GMP/HACCP knowledge, auditing experience and the ability to travel frequently across Europe and BCCA regions.

The ideal candidate will guide QA teams, lead CAPA programs, and partner with R&D, Technical Services and Operations to ensure product safety and quality from plant to pallet.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant technical/scientific field.
• Extensive experience in Quality, Food Safety and Manufacturing within beverages.
• Solid knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety Systems and auditing.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and lead change across sites and functions.
• Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of RCA and CAPA methodologies.
• Proficiency with 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality & Food Safety programs across Europe FOBO and 45+ franchise beverage sites.
• Drive compliance with QFS standards, GMP, HACCP, QAS, AIB and GFSI; ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Lead QAS audits and drive risk-based follow-up and continuous improvement.
• Monitor QFS KPIs and identify risks; drive site-level performance improvement.
• Support qualification, validation and commissioning of new plants and processes.
• Provide technical support and capability building to franchise sites.
• Support product incidents, root cause analysis and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with R&D, FSQA, Technical Services, Operations and Manufacturing on initiatives.
• Advise bottlers on productivity and improvement opportunities.
