Job summary

ICterra Information and Communication Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Architect to define, design, and govern the architecture of enterprise-scale applications across OTT, CRM, CMS, ISP, Telco, and digital platforms.

You will lead architectural decisions and collaborate with software engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of professional software development experience.
• 10+ years in Software Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technical Leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in enterprise-scale, distributed architectures.
• Experience with Microservices, SOA, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of DDD, SOLID, Clean Architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with API-first design and RESTful APIs; GraphQL/gRPC is a plus.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, cloud-native development practices.
• Redis, Hazelcast, or similar distributed caching.
• Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Messaging/event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub).
• C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 5+.
• Performance tuning and high-availability solutions.
• Application security principles (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Documentation and presentation skills.
• Leadership in architecture governance across teams.
• Experience with Kibana/Elasticsearch, Oracle DB modelling, TMForum SID Base DB Model.
• Preferred: OTT/Pay TV/ISP/Digital Media experience.
• Preferred: AI-assisted software development tools.
• Preferred: Observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace).
• Preferred: API Gateway, Istio Service Mesh, cloud-native networking.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, C4 Model, architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise software architecture standards and best practices.
• Design scalable, cloud-native architectures with high availability and resilience.
• Lead architecture design for enterprise apps, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Establish guidelines, reusable frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Drive technology selection, PoCs, and evaluations for new platforms/frameworks.
• Incorporate security, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements into designs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define integration architecture for internal and third-party services and cloud platforms.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise, infrastructure, and data architectures.
• Design event-driven, asynchronous, and SOA architectures where appropriate.
• Define performance, scalability, resiliency, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews and code quality assessments.
• Establish coding standards, governance, and best practices; mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps to design CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native operations.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovations aligned with business goals.
• Maintain architecture documentation, ADRs, and roadmaps.
