Job summary

Turkcell, a leading telecom and technology innovator in Turkey, seeks a Technical Architect to design and deliver complex enterprise infrastructure. You will master high-density x86 systems, storage architectures, and SDDC, collaborating with Turkcell DBS and world-class partners.

The role requires deep architectural expertise, strong communication with C-level executives, and a proven track record in large-scale projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or related technical discipline from reputable universities.
7+ years of solid experience in enterprise-scale IT infrastructure with a proven track record in Enterprise Solution Architecture, Systems Engineering or Technical Pre-Sales roles.
Designing and delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects for large enterprises or managed service providers.
Deep understanding of client business dynamics and priorities with the ability to articulate how IT solutions drive competitive advantage, efficiency and business goals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical architectures into strategic business language for C-level executives.
Strong negotiation and alignment skills to lead vision and strategy, coordinating seamlessly across internal teams, external partners, suppliers, product managers and enterprise customers.
Self-motivated, result-oriented team player with a 'can-do' attitude, problem-solving mindset, strategic thinking skills and a passion for emerging infrastructure trends.
Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

Deep architectural knowledge of x86 Systems (High-Density Rack, Blade, Composable Infrastructure), HPC clusters and GPU-accelerated infrastructure tailored for AI/ML workloads.
Mastery of Tier-1 Enterprise Storage Architectures (All-Flash, NVMe-oF, Hybrid, NAS, SAN, Object) and SAN Fabric designs (Fibre Channel, RoCE, iSCSI).
Comprehensive expertise in Software-Defined Datacenter (SDDC), Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) (e.g., VMware vSAN, Nutanix AOS), enterprise hypervisors and multi-tenant cloud orchestration layers.
Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Data Protection frameworks, including modern Backup & Recovery, Replication, Disaster Recovery (DR) Orchestration and Cyber-Resilient/Immutable storage designs.
Native proficiency in vendor-agnostic and vendor-specific sizing frameworks, partner portals and sizing tools to build, validate and commercially optimize precise Configurations and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Design, document and deliver complete technical architectures, including network/system topologies, HLDs and detailed LLDs for complex enterprise infrastructure projects.
Lead technical strategy and execution for complex RFP, RFQ, RFI and Tender processes, ensuring compliance, technical superiority and architectural alignment.
Conduct architectural health checks, modernization assessments and transformation workshops for enterprise customers to identify bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies.
Act as the ultimate technical authority and bridge between Turkcell DBS and global Tier-1 technology partners, driving architectural alignments and engineering updates.
Expert-level industry certifications (Flagship Infrastructure Architect credentials from Tier-1 vendors) are highly desirable.
