Job summary

GlassHouse is seeking a Backup Technology Consultant to join the Backup Consultancy Operations Team Lead. You will provide expert support for enterprise storage and backup environments as part of a 24/7 Operations team, with remote and on-site involvement as needed.

The role emphasizes configuring and maintaining storage and backup systems, performing installations, capacity planning, upgrades, and DR solutions, and collaborating with teams across databases and virtualization platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with hands-on backup tech.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of RAID, deduplication, and compression.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 technical support for data storage and backup environments.
• Support storage and backup projects including implementation and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot customer requests remotely or on-site as needed.
• Perform installation, capacity planning, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
• Implement and maintain data protection and disaster recovery solutions.
