Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an EMEA Packaging Automation Manager to lead design, scoping and costing of capital projects across seven OU/MUs, including India. You will provide CoE expertise across packaging and automation to support the regional capital agenda and drive next-generation automation innovations.

The role covers primary, secondary, and multi-pack formats and requires close collaboration with commercialization teams on new go-to-market initiatives. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in product/process development and programme/project management in FMCG.
• In-depth knowledge of Packaging technologies.
• Strong understanding of process flow and end-of-line technologies.
• Excellent business acumen across the broader organisation.
• Interpersonal skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• First class presentation skills (written & verbal).
• Strong analytical skills to distill complex data.
• Ability to explain complex issues to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally 30–60%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design expertise across ~75 Foods plants operating within seven OU/MUs, plus India.
• Contribute significantly to the design and scoping of major Foods capital projects.
• Support the execution team in delivering strategic projects across the region.
• Support Co-Manufacturers and Joint Venture partners in designing and implementing projects in accordance with PepsiCo engineering standards.
