Job summary

Allianz Türkiye is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our team. You will work in an agile environment, translate business needs into technical specifications, and help drive backlog prioritization and backlog execution.

Strong SQL knowledge and familiarity with AI/Data concepts are desirable. Join us to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the insurance sector, with a supportive, inclusive culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
• 5+ years of IT Business Analyst or IT Product Owner experience focused on backlog, requirements, priorities and backlog execution.
• Insurance sector and health domain experience is a plus.
• Agile methodology experience and iterative delivery knowledge.
• Creative and strategic thinking for project implementation and problem solving.
• Understanding of technical project aspects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong coordination skills and willingness to take responsibilities.
• Knowledge of SQL and familiar with software development lifecycle and BI tools.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Balsamiq, SOAP UI and similar tools.
• Fluency in English and knowledge in AI/Data Analytics and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member in agile project teams and take business analyst and scrum master responsibilities.
• Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements and design the best solutions.
• Convert requirements into technical specifications and prepare high-quality design deliverables.
• Support Product Owner and key resources to plan and execute UAT phases.
• Assist Project Manager in coordination and project management activities.

What do we expect you to bring?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or other relevant fields
• 5+ years of IT Business Analyst or IT Product Owner experience focused on creating product backlog, eliciting requirements, determining priorities and driving the development team for execution of backlog
• Insurance sector and health domain experience is a huge plus.
• Agile methodology experience and knowledge in iterative incremental delivery is desired.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when implementing projects and solving problems.
• Capability in understanding the technical aspects of the project.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong coordination skills and willingness to take responsibilities.
• Knowledge and understanding on SQL.
• Experience in software development lifecycle and business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Balsamic, SOAP UI etc..)
• Fluency in English.
• Having knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) development, Data Analytics, Data Intelligence, AI/Data Strategy, and ChatGPT.

• Working as a team member in agile project teams and taking business analyst and scrum master responsibilities.
• Gather and analyze functional and non-functional requirements of the stakeholders and design the best solutions to meet their needs.
• Convert business requirements into technical software specifications and prepare high-quality design deliverables including process modelling, data modelling, and integration details.
• Support Product Owner and Key Business Resources to plan and execute UAT phases.
• Support Project Manager in project coordination and project management activities.
