Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Basic math skills such as percentage, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, replace, install, wire, adjust, and maintain equipment for an assigned location.
• Review and follow instructions for scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection.
• Advise when shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or continue operations safely.
• Dismantle, clean, repair, replace electrical equipment with safety precautions.
• Make mechanical repairs as required in servicing electrical equipment.
• Install, splice, or replace wire sections incidental to repair or temporary installation.
• Perform emergency mechanical repairs without other maintenance personnel.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.
