Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Electrical Technician to inspect, repair, replace, install, wire, adjust, and maintain equipment at an assigned site. The role sits within the Engineering and Technical Services function, supporting preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key duties include following repair instructions, performing emergency shutdowns when needed, dismantling and repairing electrical components, and installing wiring for repairs under defined procedures and supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or trade diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow instructions for scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work.
• Dismantle, clean, repair, or replace electrical equipment with safety precautions.
• Install, splice, or replace wiring sections for repairs or temporary installations.
• Make emergency mechanical repairs without other maintenance personnel.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
