Job summary

Aktif Bank, through its subsidiary E-Kent, seeks an Assistant Manager for Financial Control and Financial Reporting. You will partner with business leaders to promote financial understanding and support the monthly close, IFRS reporting, and budgeting processes.

You will prepare monthly segment reports, assist with 5-year projections, present statements to the Board, and coordinate with auditors and the parent company, ensuring accuracy and compliance across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in audit, finance or financial controlling; audit background preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing and variance analysis skills.
• Solid IFRS, local GAAP and tax knowledge; detail oriented with deadlines.
• Strong analytical and business partnering abilities; ability to work with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders as a trusted finance advisor and promote financial understanding.
• Monitor month-end closing of accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare IFRS financial statements for the company.
• Prepare monthly segment PL reports and yearly budgets/5-year projections.
• Create monthly presentations of financial statements for the Board.
• Produce ad-hoc reports (currency position, liquidity, etc.).
• Coordinate with parent company and external auditors; follow internal audit findings.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, Financial Control and Financial Reporting, you will:

• Partner with business leaders as a trusted finance advisor, promoting financial understanding across the organization.
• Monitoring of month-end closing of accounting and financial transactions
• Preparing financial statements of the Company in accordance with IFRS
• Preparing monthly PL reports in segment basis
• Preparing yearly budgets and 5-year projections of the Company in segment and branch basis and analysing monthly realised and budgeted figures
• Preparing monthly presentations of financial statements and presenting to the Board of Directors
• Preparing ad-hoc reports (foreign currency position report, liquidity report, etc.)
• Conducting relations with Parent Company and independent auditors.
• Monitoring and following internal audit findings related to finance & accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in audit, finance or financial controlling (Audit background is highly preferable)
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, and variance analysis.
• Solid understanding of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax legislation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong grasp of financial statements and how transactions impact P&L and balance sheet
• Skilled at working with auditors, tax consultants, and finance operations teams
• Advanced MS Excel skills; ERP and SAP Business experience are advantages.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
