Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced Drilling Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a major maintenance and lifecycle project in Turkey. The role collaborates with operations, maintenance, project, supply chain and QHSE teams to ensure safe, efficient maintenance aligned with project requirements.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance plans and work instructions, creating scopes of work, managing WBS, performing criticality assessments, reviewing OEM documentation, and supporting

Qualifications

• Strong drilling systems experience within offshore drilling or drilling support environments.
• Experience developing maintenance plans, PM tasks, and technical work instructions.
• Experience preparing scopes of work for inspection, maintenance, repair, modification, and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of asset integrity, criticality assessments, and risk management processes.
• Experience reviewing OEM documentation and technical bulletins.
• Strong stakeholder management and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Experience training and mentoring personnel.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a major maintenance and lifecycle project.

The Drilling SME will work closely with operations, maintenance, project, supply chain, and QHSE teams to ensure equipment is maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance plans and work instructions, preparing scopes of work, managing work breakdown structures, performing criticality assessments, supporting procurement activities, reviewing OEM documentation, developing maintenance strategies, and supporting training of local personnel.

The successful candidate will also support asset verification activities, ensure maintenance plans are reflected within project schedules, and assist with technical and engineering queries throughout the project lifecycle.

• Working Hours: 06:00 - 18:00
• Rotation: 5 weeks on / 4 weeks off, including 1 week remote working
