Job summary

Coca-Cola in Istanbul is seeking a Director of Safety to lead the enterprise safety agenda across Europe, the Middle East, and the operating unit. The role partners with senior leaders to protect people and strengthen resilience while embedding a Zero is Possible culture.

The incumbent will drive strategy, governance, and performance, while leading due diligence for acquisitions and major changes across global stakeholders and bottling partners.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in occupational safety, QSE, technical operations or supply chain with leadership in a multi-country matrix.
• Experience shaping strategy, leading change and improving safety across company and partner operations.
• Expertise in ISO 45001, risk-based governance and serious incident management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Safety strategy, roadmap and operating plan for EME.
• Lead governance, assurance and compliance with applicable safety standards and laws.
• Provide strategic leadership for risk-based management, incident prevention and investigation.
• Establish Safety metrics and analytics; monitor OU risk profile and actions.
• Influence budget priorities to address safety risks and governance requirements.
• Align cross-functional partners with common safety standards and performance routines.
• Build leadership capability and knowledge sharing for Safety as a business result.
• Lead safety due diligence for acquisitions and major changes.
