Trane Technologies in Istanbul is seeking a Sales Support & Application Engineer - Data Centers to support Türkiye and Eastern Europe. You will deliver strong pre-sales coordination, accurate equipment selection, and disciplined project documentation across the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support data center projects through accurate equipment selection and application engineering activities.
• Provide the sales organization with pre-sales technical and commercial support to help develop projects efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare, organize, track, and manage project documentation in a timely and disciplined manner.
• Take ownership of documentation, equipment selection, and project coordination for data center opportunities across Türkiye and Eastern Europe.
• Monitor and support both pre-sales and post-sales processes to ensure smooth project execution and effective follow-up.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, sales teams, and relevant departments to align on project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
• Work from the Istanbul office while maintaining close collaboration with the Ankara office.

Position Overview

The Sales Support & Application Engineer - Data Centers is responsible for supporting the data center business across Türkiye and the Eastern Europe region by delivering strong pre-sales and post-sales coordination, accurate equipment selection, and disciplined project documentation management throughout the full project lifecycle.

This role requires a technically capable, highly organized, and detail-oriented professional who can work closely with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders. The position is primarily based in the Istanbul office and requires close coordination with the Ankara office.
