Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• Up to 4 years in Oracle, MSSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Linux experience is a must.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Experience with incident handling and SLA adherence.
• Ability to automate daily DB tasks with PL/SQL, Python or Bash.
• Excellent communication with customers and teammates.

About this opportunity!

The Database Admin Job Role supports the realization of IT solutions in test environment by providing specialized technical expertise on systems, platforms, databases, networks and security in ADM Projects.

What You Will Do

As a technology expert, the DB Admin, works with the customer, driving the technical architecture definition.

Defining the full technical infrastructural environment of an IT solution.

Responsible for understanding and implementing business rules and requirements of the customer database in recurrent business where the demands and the specifications are well defined testing projects.

This role will be responsible for the incident ticket handling within the given SLA resolution times.

DB operations such as installation, upgrade, patching, data migration, refresh, export/import procedures are the main responsibilities for the role.

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Maximum 4 years of experience in at least one of the following database technologies: Oracle, MSSQL, or NoSQL DBs.
• Linux experience is a must.
• Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.
• Daily operational tasks in Oracle DB such as migration, refresh, export/import, patching, fresh installation.
• Solid understanding in TCP/IP networking technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively with customers
• Proactively create procedures to prevent and reduce the severity of outages
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues.
• Willingness to be constantly learning and have automation mindset.
• Good to have prior experience about automating daily database operational tasks via PL/SQL, Python or bash.
• Ability to develop and maintain clear and extensive documentation,
• No military obligation at least in 2 years
