We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Governance Specialist with a focus on Data Governance and Data Quality to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies and standards to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to implement data quality initiatives and data management best practices.
• Monitor data quality, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Establish and enforce data management processes for data lifecycle management, data classification, and data security.
• Develop and implement data quality metrics and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational data governance policies.
• Support data management tools, systems and processes to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data governance, data management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data quality processes, data management frameworks and data governance best practices.
• Experience with data governance tools and data management platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and compliance (e.g., KVKK, GDPR).
• Familiarity with data lineage, data cataloging and data classification techniques.
• Strong understanding of data management frameworks and industry best practices.
• Experience working with SQL, relational databases and ETL processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and solve data-related issues with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to approach AI with curiosity and intention, actively incorporating AI-powered tools into workflows to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
• Knowledge of data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud data governance is preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Certification in data governance or related fields (e.g., DAMA, CDMP) is preferred.
