Job summary

ING Hubs Türkiye is seeking a Chapter Lead for Data & AI Engineering to lead a community of Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and AI specialists. You will drive technical excellence, safeguard expertise in data platforms and AI solutions, and enable scalable, secure, high-impact delivery aligned with ING’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in Data/AI domains.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, ML systems and AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience with data pipelines, cloud environments and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a chapter of Data & AI engineers with coaching, mentoring and performance management.
• Define and drive engineering standards, best practices, and reusable patterns across data platforms and ML/GenAI solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure delivery of data pipelines, ML models, and AI applications in collaboration with architects and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute hands-on to complex initiatives while ensuring reliable delivery across squads.
• Align chapter capacity with priorities, working with Product and Tribe Leads.
• Drive roadmap initiatives and upskill the team to strengthen capabilities.
• Promote modern engineering practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other Chapter Leads and global stakeholders on standards and initiatives.
