Job summary

GİZLİ is seeking a security operations professional to manage end-to-end operations of enterprise security products, including firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, DDoS, EDR/XDR, and DLP. The role requires at least 4 years in a similar position, an engineering degree, and strong planning, documentation, and collaboration with Network, System, and SOC teams to strengthen security posture.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations of enterprise security products such as Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, DDoS, EDR/XDR, Web & Mail Security, DLP.
• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of assigned security systems.
• Monitor security platforms, conduct performance tracking and capacity planning.
• Identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and operational risks, and implement remediation plans.
• Analyze security incidents and support incident response processes.
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Participate in PoC research, evaluation, and deployment of new security technologies.
• Provide technical support for audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and status presentations.
• Collaborate with Network, System, Application, and SOC teams to strengthen security architecture.
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to maintain security operations.

• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management of assigned security systems,
• Monitor security platforms, conduct performance tracking and capacity planning,
• Identify security vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and operational risks, and develop and implement remediation plans,
• Analyze security incidents and actively support incident response processes when required,
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures,
• Participate in research, evaluation (PoC), and deployment of new security technologies and solutions,
• Provide technical support for internal/external audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements,
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and status presentations related to security systems,
• Collaborate closely with Network, System, Application, and SOC teams to strengthen overall security architecture,
• Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring uninterrupted security operations through proper prioritization.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an Engineering department at a university,
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position,
• Experience with security product groups (Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, DDoS, EDR/XDR, Web & Mail Security, DLP, etc.),
• Knowledge of and, if possible, experience with basic networks and systems,
• Managing, maintaining, monitoring, and planning improvement efforts for security products under responsibility, ensuring they are completed according to plan,
• Advanced planning skills and solution-oriented,
• Habit of documentation and reporting,
• Analytical thinking ability, problem solving and results-oriented,
• Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
