Job summary

Hyundai Motor Türkiye invites you to join our Quality team in İzmit. As a CoP Engineer, you will manage regulatory applications for new vehicle projects, track compliance across the lifecycle, and coordinate actions with authorities and suppliers.

You will contribute to risk assessments and audits while supporting QoS improvements. You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 2 years in automotive homologation, familiarity with WVTA/UNECE standards, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive homologation and regulatory experience.
• Experience with ECE, WVTA, GSR, and UNECE standards.
• Experience preparing and interpreting technical documentation (test reports, conformity certificates).
• Experience with international regulatory bodies or certification authorities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up regulatory applications for new vehicle projects and mass production in line with CoP requirements.
• Track regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle (design, production, aftersales).
• Conduct risk assessments related to regulatory changes and report findings to management.
• Manage technical correspondence with national and international authorities.
• Coordinate with external laboratories/authorities for regulatory testing and certification.
• Oversee ISO 9001 Quality Management System, internal audits, and related software systems.
