Job description

ACWA Power is recruiting a contract manager for a project in Turkey, the posting carrying the location code TR and no town. The employer develops, invests in and operates power generation and desalinated water plants and states ninety assets in operation, construction or advanced development across thirteen countries. The post sits in the project management division under contract management and reports to the project director.

Its purpose is the contract administration and commercial management of the project, which means working across the investment agreement, the power purchase agreement, the EPC contract, the operation and maintenance agreement, the long term service agreement, the connection agreement and the system usage agreement rather than one form alone.

The named deliverables are unusually specific for a client side advert and describe the shape of the job: a contract management plan, an obligations and compliance register, a covenants and notice register, a variation and change register, a claims register, a contract risk register, a payment and commercial tracker, a monthly contract and commercial report, and contract close out with the final account.
