Job summary

Abdul Latif Jameel Company in Türkiye is seeking a Compliance Manager to establish and enhance our corporate compliance framework. You will ensure operations meet global and local regulations and the highest ethical standards across data privacy, sanctions, AML, and ethics.

You will lead privacy initiatives, oversee sanctions programs, implement AML/ABAC, manage whistleblowing and investigations, and drive governance and training to strengthen compliance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance or related field.
• 4–6+ years of compliance, legal or risk management experience.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Turkish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead data privacy compliance initiatives, including GDPR alignment and DPIAs.
• Oversee international sanctions compliance programs (OFAC, EU, UK, UN).
• Implement and monitor AML/ABAC frameworks and due diligence processes.
• Manage whistleblowing channels and investigations under the Code of Conduct.
• Drive governance activities: policy management, regulatory monitoring and reporting.
• Design and deliver compliance training to raise awareness and culture.

Manager – Compliance

Location: Türkiye

We are seeking a highly motivated Compliance Manager to establish, implement, and continuously enhance our corporate compliance framework. This role ensures that all business operations are conducted in full alignment with global and local regulations, internal policies, and the highest ethical standards.

The role plays a key part in proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks across critical domains, including data privacy, international sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), and ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage data privacy compliance initiatives, including GDPR alignment, privacy impact assessments, and incident response
• Oversee sanctions compliance programs ensuring adherence to OFAC, EU, UK, and UN regulations
• Implement and monitor AML & ABAC frameworks, including due diligence, transaction monitoring, and reporting
• Manage whistleblowing channels and conduct investigations into misconduct and Code of Conduct violations
• Drive compliance governance activities, including policy management, regulatory monitoring, and reporting
• Design and deliver compliance training programs to enhance organizational awareness and culture

Qualifications & Experience:

• 4–6+ years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles
• Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR)
• Familiarity with international sanctions frameworks and AML practices
• Experience with compliance tools, screening systems, or GRC platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CIPP/E, CCEP) are a plus
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or Turkish is a plus
