Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology is seeking a Software Developer with strong Java, Microservices, and Oracle PL/SQL expertise to join our capital markets technology team in İzmit. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and brokerage applications in a fast-paced financial tech environment.

We expect hands-on experience with Microservices, Oracle databases, and a solid understanding of API design and system integration.

Qualifications

• Graduated from STEM departments (Computer Engineering preferred) of reputable universities.
• Minimum 2 years of software experience.
• Strong professional experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and related design patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and PL/SQL development.
• Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture, API design and system integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced capital markets / financial technology environment.
• Previous experience in a brokerage firm, investment company, bank or financial technology company.
• Experience with Oracle Forms development and/or maintenance.
• Experience integrating legacy Oracle applications with modern Java/Microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with trading, order management, risk management or portfolio management systems.
• Experience working with high-volume, low-latency or mission-critical financial applications.
• Good command of reading and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based Microservices and enterprise-grade backend applications.
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, triggers and complex SQL queries.
• Contribute to the development and modernization of capital markets and brokerage applications.
• Work closely with business, trading, operations and technology teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into high-quality technical solutions.
• Participate in system integration, performance optimization, troubleshooting and production support.
• Contribute to the modernization of legacy applications and migration towards modern microservices architectures.
