Job summary

Wlgroup is seeking a senior capability integration professional for relocation to the United States (Norfolk, Virginia) to support a NATO-related capability programme. The role focuses on governance, multi-domain effects and coordination with national and international partners.

The candidate will bring a Master’s degree in engineering or related field, extensive briefing experience to senior leaders, and at least two decades of combined programme management and multinational defence exposure,

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent military college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics or operations research.
• Significant experience briefing senior leaders and decision-makers (3 of last 10 years).
• Five years of operational experience in the last 12 years integrating and synchronising effects, especially non-kinetic ones.
• At least two of the last 10 years in programme or project management in a complex environment.
• At least two of the last 10 years in a multinational defence organisation.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Support development of capability products under the alliance governance model.
• Support the programme director and project coordinators, including work with agencies and nations.
• Provide methodological and analytical expertise for multi-domain and joint effects.
• Support the projects, including the fires integration line of effort.
• Capture and trace requirements at every level.
• Develop and review the doctrinal corpus.
• Coordinate across lines of development and propose actions where conflicts arise.
• Organise and participate in workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborate with national and international organisations, centres of excellence and academia.
• Maintain programme status information and support capability validation.

What you would be doing

• Supporting the development of capability products under the alliance governance model.
• Supporting the programme director and project coordinators, including work with agencies and nations.
• Providing methodological and analytical expertise for the holistic approach to multi-domain and joint effects.
• Supporting the projects themselves, including the fires integration line of effort.
• Drawing out, capturing, analysing and tracing requirements at every level.
• Developing and reviewing the doctrinal corpus.
• Coordinating across all lines of development and proposing courses of action where they conflict.
• Organising and taking part in workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborating with national and international organisations, centres of excellence and academia.
• Maintaining programme status information and supporting capability validation.

What you would bring

• A master degree or equivalent military college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics or operations research.
• At least three of the last ten years briefing senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Five years of operational experience inside the last twelve integrating and synchronising effects, particularly non-kinetic ones.
