Job summary

WLG is seeking candidates for a long-term engagement based in the United States (Norfolk, Virginia) under the NATO-5 visa framework. The role focuses on developing capability products within an alliance governance model and coordinating with agencies, nations and international partners.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree or equivalent, have extensive briefing experience to senior leaders, and possess multi-domain intelligence fusion and project management backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent military college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics or operations research.
• Five of the last ten years briefing senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Two of the last ten years in programme or project management in a complex environment.
• Two of the last ten years in a multinational defence organisation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of capability products under the alliance governance model.
• Support the programme director and project coordinators, including work with agencies and nations.
• Provide methodological and analytical expertise for the holistic approach to this capability area.
• Support the projects themselves, including the intelligence line of effort.
• Draw out, capture, analyse and trace requirements at every level.
• Develop and review the doctrinal corpus.
• Coordinate across all lines of development and propose courses of action where they conflict.
• Organise and take part in workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborate with national and international organisations, centres of excellence and academia.
• Maintain programme status information and supporting capability validation.

• Organising and taking part in workshops, seminars and conferences.
• Collaborating with national and international organisations, centres of excellence and academia.
• Maintaining programme status information and supporting capability validation.

What you would bring

• A master degree or equivalent military college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics or operations research.
• At least three of the last ten years briefing senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Five years of operational experience inside the last twelve in intelligence fusion and integration, particularly multi-source and multi-domain.
• At least two of the last ten years in programme or project management in a complex environment.
• At least two of the last ten years in a multinational defence organisation.
• Fluent professional English.

This is a long engagement that renews year on year, not a short project.
