Job summary

Algocor is seeking a Software Engineer — C++ to join our team and work on performance-critical systems for algorithmic trading infrastructure. You will focus on the systems layer, where performance, memory behavior, concurrency, and execution quality matter deeply.

You’ll write clean, high-performance C++ in a Linux environment, design reusable components, and collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to bring ideas from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Strong modern C++ expertise for performance-critical systems.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems programming.
• Not a generic backend role; focus on low-level behavior and real-time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable C++ code (C++17 or later) for low-latency trading systems.
• Design reusable components using modern C++ features and templates.
• Work on Linux system-level programming including process/thread management and memory handling.
• Build and maintain networked applications using sockets and low-level networking APIs.
• Optimize systems with memory, concurrency, and performance considerations.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to move concepts to production.
• Contribute to architecture decisions in complex, performance-sensitive codebases.
• Improve reliability, maintainability, and observability of the platform.
