Job summary

Bulutistan is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our team in Turkey. You will manage secure network connectivity, monitor performance, and support security operations across data centers and cloud environments.

The role requires strong routing, VPN, firewall, and incident management skills, with experience in financial services preferred. You will collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams and contribute to change management and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in network/security engineering, with banking/financial experience preferred.
• Strong routing, switching, VLANs, STP, BGP/OSPF, and traffic optimization knowledge.
• Experience with enterprise network platforms (Cisco/Juniper/HP-Aruba or equivalent).
• VPN, IPSec/GRE/MPLS, load balancing, and network monitoring expertise.
• Ability to troubleshoot L2/L3 incidents in structured environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize network infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and connectivity points.
• Operate and maintain routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless networks.
• Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting, incident handling, and escalation as needed.
• Configure VPN tunnels, MPLS, GRE, and IPsec for secure inter-site links.
• Implement firewall rule updates and access changes per security policies.
• Support DR/network continuity, capacity planning, and change management.
• Collaborate with cloud and infra teams for onboarding and testing.
• Maintain topology diagrams, inventories, and operational documentation.
• Assist audits with network-related evidence and RCA participation.
