Job summary

Vanderlande seeks a Low Level Control Engineer (Controls & Automation) for Istanbul Airport to optimize baggage flow and system performance. You will analyze PLC and SCADA data, create shift reports, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve incidents while contributing to change management and documentation.

You will work in a highly technical, international environment, applying your PLC, SCADA, and networking knowledge to ensure reliable operations and continuous improvement at the airport.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering or similar.
• 1–3 years of experience in automation or material handling systems.
• Good Turkish and English communication; residency in Istanbul or willingness to move.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA and industrial networks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report system performance of PLCs and baggage flow.
• Create shift reports and coordinate with maintenance/SCADA teams.
• Handle ticket lifecycles and escalation within SLA.
• Document manuals, diagrams, and change management processes.
• Study product line developments and firmware updates.
