Job summary

Invent.ai Istanbul (remote options) seeks a Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services and APIs powering our AI-driven inventory and pricing optimization platform. You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists and other developers to translate business needs into robust software.

The role emphasizes C#/Python, SQL Server, ETL with Airflow, PySpark, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
Experience in C#/Python software development.
Strong expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.
Solid understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
Hands-on experience with Git and version control.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Datadog).
Strong analytical thinking and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud-based omnichannel retail planning solutions using C#/Python & SQL.
Work with ETL processes using Airflow & Python and PySpark to integrate data efficiently.
Work on complex algorithms, optimize stored procedures, and enhance system scalability & performance.
Apply OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices in C#/Python.
Perform performance profiling and resolve system bottlenecks.
Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Lead design and code reviews within feature areas and mentor teammates.
