Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Principal to bridge sales and delivery leadership within our Microsoft Business Group. You will work with sales to win Microsoft engagements from scoping to close, while also overseeing the technical quality of programs.

Half your time is client-facing across the sales cycle, the other half focuses on delivery oversight, architecture design, and thought leadership across Azure, data, AI/ML, and Copilot/Fabric workloads.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Azure and Microsoft platform across app modernization, data and AI workloads.
• Experience leading multi-workload Microsoft deployments at enterprise scale.
• Strong client-facing consulting experience and ability to guide architecture discussions with executives.
• Experience supporting presales: scoping, proposals, deal closure.
• Solid fundamentals across REST, containers, serverless, front-end/back-end and data/AI stacks.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication translating tech into business terms.
• Background in large-scale software development or data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales & Delivery teams to engage prospects through the sales lifecycle.
• Lead scoping and authoring proposals and statements of work for Microsoft engagements.
• Design project teaming models and provide effort and cost estimates.
• Communicate scope, assumptions, and risk to technical and executive audiences.
• Design Azure and Microsoft platform solutions spanning modernization, data, AI/ML workloads.
• Oversee development efforts and provide technical escalation.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the practice.
• Stay current on Microsoft platform developments and share insights.
