Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Turkey is seeking a seasoned Lead Azure Cloud Engineer to architect, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure for enterprise applications.

You will collaborate with Cloud Architects, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, Networking, Data, AI, and Product teams to deliver robust Azure environments, AKS workloads, IaC patterns, observability, and AI-enabled services while promoting best practices in security and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting, implementing, and managing Azure cloud solutions in enterprise environments.
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking, identity, governance, security, monitoring, and platform services.
• Proven experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based collaboration workflows.
• Strong scripting skills and ability to mentor teammates and lead engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across subscriptions and resources.
• Develop reusable deployment patterns and IaC modules for multi-environment deployments.
• Operate AKS environments, including node pools, ingress, secrets, autoscaling, and security controls.
• Lead DevSecOps practices: automated testing, security scans, and release governance.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure Azure implementations.
