Job summary

MAVİ GÖK HAVACILIK A.Ş in CENTER is seeking an Aviation Data Management Specialist to monitor regulatory changes, ensure data accuracy, and coordinate aviation data submissions with multiple departments.

The role involves maintaining data inventories, managing data quality, and supporting audits to meet SHGM, EASA, IATA, and ICAO standards. Strong Excel, SQL or Power BI skills, and English proficiency (B2) are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, MIS, or related field.
• Experience in data management, regulatory compliance, quality, auditing, or reporting in aviation.
• Knowledge of SHGM, EASA, IATA, ICAO requirements.
• Proficiency in data management, data quality, data validation, data analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SQL or Power BI.
• Familiar with CSV, XML, JSON; API/SFTP basics.
• Experience with regulatory data submission and audits is a plus.
• Understanding ISO 27001, PDPL/GDPR or similar standards.
• Strong English (B2), analytical, and cross‑functional communication.

Responsibilities

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• You preferably have experience in data management, regulatory compliance, quality, auditing, reporting, or operational processes within the aviation industry,
• You preferably have knowledge of national and international civil aviation regulations and standards, including SHGM, EASA, IATA, and ICAO requirements,
• You preferably have knowledge of or experience in one or more aviation functions, such as You have knowledge of data management, data quality, data validation, data analysis, and reporting,
• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level,
• You have experience with at least one data analysis or reporting tool, such as SQL or Power BI,
• You are familiar with data formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON, as well as the basic principles of system-to-system data transfer methods, including APIs and SFTP,
• You preferably have experience in regulatory data submission, notification, or reporting processes for aviation authorities,
• You have knowledge of internal and external audits, risk assessments, non-conformity tracking, and corrective and preventive action processes,
• You have a basic understanding of ISO 27001, PDPL/GDPR, or similar quality, information security, and data protection standards,
• You are capable of preparing processes, procedures, instructions, and operational documentation,
• You have a good command of written and spoken English, with a minimum proficiency level of B2,
• You have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills,
• You are detail-oriented and able to prioritize effectively in demanding and time‑critical situations,

What Awaits You in This Role?

• You will monitor legislation, regulations, standards, circulars, and requirements issued by national and international civil aviation authorities, regulatory bodies, and relevant organizations, particularly SHGM, EASA, IATA, and ICAO,
• You will assess the impact of regulatory changes on company operations and ensure that the relevant departments are informed accordingly,
• You will support the management of operational and corporate aviation data in line with accuracy, integrity, consistency, timeliness, and traceability standards,
• You will coordinate the preparation and submission of data, reports, notifications, records, and supporting documents requested by aviation authorities and regulatory bodies,
• You will support data management and coordination processes with departments,
• You will create and maintain a data inventory covering data ownership, data sources, data flows, and responsible departments,
• You will regularly monitor data quality, identify missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent data, and coordinate the necessary corrective actions with the relevant departments,
• You will monitor regulatory data transfers and notification processes, coordinating with operational and technical teams to resolve any errors, interruptions, or compliance issues,
• You will support the monitoring of records, logs, and traceability mechanisms related to data management processes,
• You will assess company practices for compliance with applicable aviation regulations and regulatory requirements and follow up on identified non‑compliance issues,
• You will prepare and maintain procedures, instructions, process flows, checklists, and other documentation related to aviation data management and regulatory compliance,
