Job summary

Hyundai Motor UK Ltd. in Turkey is seeking a Mechanical/Chemical Engineer to support production and engineering teams in addressing production and quality issues. The role involves working on painting, sealing and coating systems and driving continuous improvements.

You will prepare written reports, deliver presentations, and actively participate in problem-solving projects, using Six Sigma tools, RCA, and 8D to improve processes and KPI outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 1–3 years' experience in automotive industry.
• Willing to work in painting, sealing & coating systems.
• Robotic and automation knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced level of English in writing and speaking.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and related tools.
• CAD proficiency with 2D/3D design prints (AutoCAD, CATIA).
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Support production and engineering team with production and quality problems
• Propose budget for investment of new equipment and drive these investments
• Produce written reports and make presentations
• To take an active role in the solution of quality improvement activities
• Participating in problem solving teams, execute process improvement projects
• Prepare project outlines, follow up the schedule and budget issues
• Decide, implement and manage KPI (key performance indicators)
