Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Antalya plant in Turkey seeks a senior production leader to manage a team of engineers and technicians. The role oversees automated lines, quality, and efficiency KPIs, and leads line improvements and equipment validation.

Strong GMP and Lean experience, plus excellent English, are essential for cross-functional work with international teams. Living in Antalya or willingness to relocate is expected, with a focus on advancing overall equipment effectiveness and production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the listed engineering fields.
• 10+ years in production plants with 5+ years in team management.
• Experience in Automotive / Food & Beverage / Medical Products / Electronics.
• GMP experience and Lean manufacturing knowledge (Lean, 6 Sigma, TPM, WCM).
• Excellent English, cross-functional and international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians and their development.
• Oversee automated production lines and monitor Production KPIs.
• Manage commissioning, validation, and optimization of automation equipment.
• Drive OEE improvements and diagnose/eliminate faults in lines.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance for timely improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from Engineering Departments (Electric/Electronic/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering),
• Minimum 10 years of business experience in production plants with 5 years of experience in team management both blue-collar and white-collar,
• Having professional experience Automotive / Food&Beverage / Medical Products/ Electronics Manufacturing,
• Having project management experience,
• Excellent command of English, both oral and written,
• Having work experience in good manufacturing practice (GMP) environment,
• Preferably having work experience with international teams,
• Knowledge of Lean production (Lean, 6 Sigma, TPM, WCM) will be asset,
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in interact effectively with all levels of management,
• Ability to build team environment and create collaboration between the team,
• Ability to take initiatives, guide people and evaluate risks,
• Working according to company core values and compliance rules,
• Having problem skills with analytic approach,
• Living in Antalya or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the team consisting of experienced engineers and technicians reporting to him/her.
• Manage and monitor automated production assembly lines,
• Manage and monitor Production Quality and Production Efficiency KPIs,
• Manage and monitor commission and validation of the automation machines,
• Be responsible for refining and improving lines to increase overall equipment efficiency (OEE),
• Be responsible for finding, diagnosing and eliminating faults,
• Proficient in industrial communication infrastructures,
• Knowledgeable about industrial automation instruments (Robots, drivers, PLC control systems.),
• Knowledgeable about MES and applications,
• Experienced camera vision systems,
• Experienced in laser welding systems,
• Accountable for the effective and timely implementation, monitoring and closure of the assigned NC/CAPA activities,
• Experienced in Industrial Robot programming (preferably Kuka or ABB), maintenance, etc.
• Proficiency in using and applying engineering and project management methodologies, tools & techniques
