Job summary

Manay CPA is seeking motivated audit professionals to expand expertise in U.S. GAAP, audit standards, and tax practices while serving a diverse client base across industries. This fully remote role in Turkey supports onboarding, risk assessment, fieldwork, and coordination with U.S. time zones.

You will work across audit, accounting, and tax engagements with strong training and opportunities for professional growth. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related
• At least 3 years in auditing, accounting, and/or tax, with experience leading fieldwork or reviewing junior staff work
• Comfortable spanning audit, accounting, and tax engagements; not suited for audit-only career paths
• Turkish CPA (SMMM) or Turkish Sworn-in CPA (YMM) license is a plus
• Public accounting or external audit experience is a plus
• US GAAP and/or IFRS experience is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with audit or accounting software systems is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal business English communication
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills
• Organized with multitasking ability in fast-paced environments
• Location: Home office with US time-zone alignment (Eastern Time)
• Occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding for new audit clients and set up audit workflows and documentation
• Participate in day-to-day audit tasks: risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, workpapers, and audit programs
• Use company software to complete audit, reporting, and compliance tasks accurately
• Prepare audit schedules, management letters, reconciliations, and other documentation per standards
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial statements
• Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and risk areas
• Research auditing, accounting, and regulatory issues to provide solutions
• Assist with US federal/state compliance, year-end reporting and filing support
• Work across accounting, tax, and audit engagements; hybrid role with bookkeeping and tax support outside peak season
• Contribute to special projects and financial report preparation

Responsibilities

• Support the onboarding process for new audit clients, ensuring a smooth transition and clear setup of audit workflows and documentation.
• Participate in day-to-day audit engagement tasks, including risk assessment, planning, fieldwork, workpaper preparation, and completion of audit programs.
• Use company software to complete audit, reporting, and compliance‑related tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare audit schedules, management letters, reconciliations, and other audit documentation in line with professional standards.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of risk that may require further audit attention.
• Research complex auditing, accounting, and regulatory issues to provide practical solutions and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Assist with U.S. federal and state compliance requirements related to client audit engagements, including year‑end reporting and filing support.
• Work across accounting, tax, and audit engagements throughout the year — this is a hybrid role by design, with audit work supplemented by bookkeeping, tax return preparation, and financial reporting support, particularly outside of peak audit season.
• Contribute to special projects and financial report preparation as needed.

Requirements

• Have a bachelor's degree in related fields such as accounting, finance, economics, business, etc.
• Have 3+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, and/or tax, including experience leading fieldwork or reviewing junior staff work
• Comfortable working across audit, accounting, and tax engagements — candidates seeking an audit‑only career path are not likely to be a strong fit for this role,
• Turkish CPA (SMMM) or Turkish Sworn‑in CPA (YMM) License will be considered as a big plus,
• Public accounting or external audit experience is a big plus,
• USGAAP and/or IFRS experience is a big plus,
• Have extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel,
• Experience with Audit or Accounting Software Systems is a big plus,Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English - All interviews will be conducted in English!
